Meet Mocha. (insert cute picture of the dog stealing Peter's sandal) We have a friend who had this cute little Yorkshire Terrier she was looking for a good home for. We decided to dogsit for a few days to see how it went. We have to say she is definitely still a puppy. While we do like her and had a lot of fun we just aren't in a spot to offer her a good home :(
But we plan on dogsitting whenever possible.

Mia Elise Philips - Our Goddaughter
This past weekend we flew up to STL for exciting weekend.
Started with Uncle Stu and Aunt Betty visiting grandma and grandpa. Stu and Betty along with grandpa were then surprised Friday by their nieces, Barb, Nancy, and Carolyn. The same night Uncle Peter and Aunt Betty surprised everyone. The next day Doug came into town too, but Peter ruined that surprise.
The second part of this weekend was the christening of our niece Mia Elise Philips. We were lucky enough to be named her godparents. We couldn't be prouder since, let us tell you, she is a cutie pie.
So definitely a busy weekend :P. We had a blast and was good to be back in STL.

Unpacked, Kind of.
Finally everyone is unpacked down in Little Rock, though with a one bedroom apartment both Amanda and Peter feel a little packed in.
Life is definitely busy, with both Peter and Amanda working now. Luckily Amanda had the past weekend off which ended up being laundry weekend. Surprisingly even laundry can be exciting. While doing a couple loads on Saturday Peter found a little white cat that looked lost. Not sure if it was just a neighbors he left it there. When Amanda went to take the load out the little cat followed her. Not sure what to do we waited a while to see if it was a neighbors. Soon nighttime rolled around and sure enough the cat was still there. At this point we intervened, we would have taken her ourselves if wasn't for Peter being very allergic to cats, and Amanda is slightly too. So our friend Jon offered to take the cat for a while. We put up a sign that day and still haven't heard anything so sounds like our friend Jon has a new roommate.
